14 people joined in for the AGM, mostly existing committee members. The Chairman and two committee members stood down, however we welcomed one back, and two other new people joined the committee. Of those, one is a student, hence not a full BCS member.
The Treasurer and Secretary were re-elected for another year.
Unfortunately, a new Chair was not forthcoming, no-one was nominated or voted in, therefore the role will largely fall upon the Treasurer, with much support from the Secretary.
It was agreed that once “normality” returns we should consider having both webinars and physical meetings, and should explore combining the two, possibly “filming” a physical branch open meeting and delivering it as a virtual meeting, either simultaneously, or after the actual meeting. Using GoToWebinar, the webinar can be recorded, and later uploaded to the BCS YouTube “channel”.
