Synopsis:
This talk will discuss the challenges in achieving fully autonomous cars, with an emphasis on the complexity of the operating environment and the level of robustness required in the autonomous control systems. The talk will also include an outline of the work that is underway in academic institutes and industry to edge us closer to realising fully autonomous cars.
