Abstract:
To get the whole project team involved in the UX process is essential to achieve a high quality product: developers meeting users and attending usability testing, designers and developers sketching together, clients actively participating in the design process. This talk provides practical UX techniques and tools to integrate UX in the product development and get everyone in the project team contributing to the user experience.

Mariana Morris is an independent User Experience Design Consultant helping companies and startups bring their ideas to life and improve the user experience of their products. She also provides training, leadership and coaching to product teams and executives.
For the past three years, Mariana was the Head of UX & Design at a 100-person software company, where she built and led a UX design team of eight and introduced UX and design practices and processes to the 25-year company.UX in the product development and get everyone in the project team contributing to the user experience.
She co-founded the popular monthly event UX Oxford, is a regular visiting lecturer at several universities and is a regular conference speaker. She’s spoken at UX Cambridge, UX in the City: Oxford, UX Bristol, Agile in the City Bristol, Agile Prague, Front-end London.
Mariana has over 13 years of industry experience, holds a Masters in Interactive Media and a Bachelors in Industrial Design (Visual Communication). Mariana is an advocate of good design and the importance of design in tech.
